Why this page, and why not in English?
When I started this page in 1999 it was on a small scale, more for my friends and myself then for the public. The response to my comments on Rhodes and Peloponnese - the first pages - where overwhelming. As a visitor I've always had an interest in the smaller places in Greece, out of the mainstream tourist places. So I started sharing my "philosophy" and opinions of travelling, with my fellow Norwegians. I've never tried to promote my page outside Scandinavia, and my main target is, and will remain, the Scandinavians. If, however, you don't know the scandinavian languages, and are searching for some spesific information, you are welcome to e-mail me in English. Because I get a lot of SPAM, please write codeword "Herkules" in the heading, to avoid automatic deleting of your message.
